Join us in welcoming servant leader, Tunya Washington, to our Palm Garden Family. Tunya is the Executive Director at Palm Garden of Winter Haven. She comes to Palm Garden all of the way from snowy Michigan. She and her husband Shawn moved to Florida along with her 4 boys. Tunya brings a lifetime of professional experience to our family. She started over 18 years ago as a social worker. Her love for treasured elders and passion for service are her compass. Tunya, in fact, brings vast experience to Palm Garden. Her career has included vital positions: Social Service Director, Assistant Executive Director, Executive Director, Senior Executive Director, and then Regional Director of Operations.
Tunya is a huge Michigan State and Detroit Lions football fan. She enjoys watching comedies with popcorn and family. Her hobbies include going out on her boat and jet skiing, making the Sunshine State a perfect spot for her family.
